New
York Scenes
Artist Jeff Pullen vibrantly captures the modern New York urban
experience. The highly successful, award-winning artist has been
described as “Edward Hopper meets Elmore Leonard.” He has said his
imagery addresses aloneness, loneliness and the disenfranchisement that
is often urban living.

Storm
Richard
Dempsey’s Storm is watercolor and India ink. An abstractionist, Dempsey
did very
few figurative compositions. Yet when he did, there were still elements
of abstraction. In this image a mother hen and three chicks take refuge
under a breadfruit tree during a storm in Jamaica.

Charles Richards
Impressionist Charles Richard mounted three successful one-man
shows at the Delgado Museum of Art in the 1940s. Vivacious brushwork and
a loose painterly style characterize this still life of celebrated
Newcomb pottery as they do his landscapes, portraits and nudes.
